Boasting a mild, gentle season with beneficial rainfall, the 2021 vintage at Moorooduc Estate saw excellent fruit set, minimal vine stress and a paced ripening of fruit. A balanced harvest ensued, allowing the wines to take advantage of the estate's varied microclimates and offering a range of fine phenolics and delicate natural acidity.Wild yeast fermentation in French oak (10% new) was followed by extended maturation in used oak barriques of up to 10 months.
