From the first Maison Pernod-Fils distillery to the infamous absinthe ban, La Belle Epoque to the re-discovery of the original recipe, the rich history of the Maison Pernod spans more than two centuries. In 1926 The Pernod brand comes back to life with a aniseed spirit at 40°, that replaced absinthe and is still produced to this day. Pernod CLASSIC WAS BORN.
